Angry Birds Philadelphia Eagles Now Available
At last, with the smell of freshly mowed grass and really sweaty shoulder pads in the air, the brand new Angry Birds: Philadelpha Eagles web game is live! Be forewarned, football fans: The Angry Birds have no tangible running game, so it’s pass-pass-pass all day long. The game is playable at the Eagles’ Facebook page.
Most of this information was already known (see our post from last week), but we will restate the goodies here for completeness.
16 Levels: One per week that Philadelphia plays. The level is unlocked the Monday prior to the actual game. The Eagles have their “Bye Week” on the weekend of 21 October, so no level on the 22nd. (A tad inconsistent with the scheduling.)
“Playoffs? Don’t talk about playoffs! You kidding’ me?!” (Jim E. Mora, former head coach for the Colts) Anyways, back to topic: No word on if more levels would be added if the Eagles make the playoffs. I think it would be a nice bonus, personally, but it’s hard to create levels on such a narrow timeframe.
Pro tip!. Green pigskins are worth 5000 points!!
Mighty Philadelphia Eagle! Summonded by a football (surprise), he behaves the same way as the classic Mighty, with a little tumble after the apex of his perfect “V”. Achieving both 3-stars and Total Destruction earns the touchdown achievement and your level shines gold on the Level Selection screen!
Data saving issue! We are looking into this, but for now it seems to be an issue. Refer to Key’s comment below for help (thanks Key!)
Scheduled Levels
Week 1: Sept. 4th (at Cleveland Browns)
Week 2: Sept. 10th (v. Baltimore Ravens)
Week 3: Sept. 17th (at Arizona Cardinals)
Week 4: Sept. 24th (v. New York Giants, Sunday Night Football)
Week 5: Oct. 1st (at Pittsburg Steelers)
Week 6: Oct. 8th (v. Detroit Lions)
Week 7: Oct. 15th (v. Atlanta Falcons)
Week 8: Bye (No Level)
Week 9: Oct. 29th (at New Orleans Saints, Monday Night Football)
Week 10: Nov. 5th (v. Dallas Cowboys)
Week 11: Nov. 12th (at Washington Redskins)
Week 12: Nov. 19th (v. Carolina Panthers, Monday Night Football)
Week 13: Nov. 26th (at Dallas Cowboys, Sunday Night Football)
Week 14: Dec. 3rd (at Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Week 15: Dec. 10th (v. Cincinnati Bengals, Thursday Night Football)
Week 16: Dec. 17th (v. Washington Redskins)
Week 17: Dec. 24th (at New York Giants)
We will update this list with links to the walkthrough pages as they become available.

Bad Piggies Preparing to Retaliate Against the Angry Birds: Rovio Teasing New Game
Alright, details are sparse at the moment, but Rovio is definitely planning something. Sometime during the night the Pigs formed themselves a union and decided they needed to go public (you can see their press release below). In addition to the press release, those portly pigs have launched their own Facebook and Twitter accounts. So what’s going on? My guess is this will eventually end up with a brand new game, but that’s just me. Whatcha thinkin?! Yu likez? Share your insightful thoughts and opinions below.
Here is copy from the official press release from the, “King Pig Office” on “Piggy Island”:

Angry Birds Green Day Web Game Coming Soon
http://mcdn3.angrybirdsnest.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Angry-Birds-Green-Day-Coming-Soon-Teaser-Image-640x301.jpg
Welcome to paradise! For fans of music and bird flinging alike, a new web game is coming soon as a collaboration between Rovio and the alternative / punk band Green Day! The big names have teased some fantastic images, though no actual gameplay imagery has been seen yet. The game itself will likely be available at greenday-game.angrybirds.com and on Facebook. There is also some info on Green Day’s Facebook Page and their unofficial fansite.
We have a few initial thoughts about this game, but we may be in the minority. Based on the Angry Birds Friends logo, I think it’s a safe bet that it will be an on-Facebook Flash-powered app, similar to recent collaborations like Heikki and Intel. While these collaborative web games have not received the most massive of followings, they do offer some fun gameplay and unique level designs. I’m not all by myself in thinking that this collaboration with Green Day and their massive fan base could draw a much bigger following than any of the previous web based mini-games.
At this time, there is no announced launch date, but if you wake me up before September ends I may have an answer. As always, we will be having a blast while we keep our eyes out for the launch (and you will be the first to know when it does).
I hope you’ve had the time of your life reading this and enjoyed our not-so-subtle Green Day references.

Is a Level Creator Coming Soon to Angry Birds or is a "Protector of Pigs?
Coment of Level Creator:
The morning of the 26 of July Rovio posted an interesting image to their Facebook page. The picture shows a pig and three thought bubbles with different structures inside. The caption reads, “Decisions, decisions, decisions”, meaning he’s deep in thought about which structure would best protect him from the incoming birds (knowing the pigs it will likely be the worst one). While most people simply look at this and think it’s another cute image by Rovio, I think it might be teasing a possible new feature: a level creator!
I may be wrong, but I figured I’d throw it out there and see what you all think? Is this just another fun image by Rovio, a new feature, or possibly even a whole new game?
A couple final thoughts. I honestly have no idea if this image means anything or if I’m reading too far into it. I know a level creator has been rumored for a long time and is something the fans have been clamoring for, but this is my no means proof that it is coming. I really dig the level creator in Amazing Alex, but on the flip-side I am not a big fan of the ability to share solutions. In my opinion it detracts from the gameplay as it makes it too easy to just, “take a quick peek”.
Coment of Protector of Pigs(Of one page in Greek):
Change the data in the new Angry Birds being prepared for the first time since the player takes the role of the pig.
The Rovio, has created one of the most successful games for mobile phones, will launch a new version where users will have to defend the pigs from the attacks of Angry Birds.
The creators of the game revealed that it is time to reverse the roles and get into the skin of the player on the green pigs.
Instead, players assume the role of Angry Birds and Pigs attack to destroy their castles, players must defend their pigs against attacks.
Although things are changing, however, some data remain the same. The catapult and sling not change despite the fact that the player will take the side of the hog.
According to executive Rovio, the future will change the game and will not focus on both sling and the characters of the game. So players will try to find out why Angry Birds is always so angry.
Today, Angry Birds has been a huge success as 200 million users playing the popular game.

Angry Birds Trilogy Flying to Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo 3DS
If you have been anxiously waiting for the Angry Birds to come flying through your 40-inch flatscreen HD television set — or even that 18-inch, 150-pound set with the rabbit ears on top — your wait may soon be over! Activision and Rovio have confirmed that they are teaming up to bring the Angry Birds Trilogy to gaming consoles! There is a lot that has been confirmed in a recent article by IGN.com, which even contains a nice video with a look at some of the imagery involved. (We took a couple screenshots and included them below, but be sure to check out IGN’s video as well.)
After reading the article and watching the video ourselves, we can confirm, speculate, and question nearly everything that you may want to know about this new game. So, let’s run down some of the highlights.
What we know:
The so-called “Angry Birds Trilogy” (herein called ABT) will be a single disc/cartridge that contains the first three mobile apps: Angry Birds, Seasons, and Rio.
ABT will be available for XBox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo 3DS. In addition to controller gameplay, gamers will be able to use Kinect, Move, and StreetPass, respectively, to fling birds at those evil pigs and marmosets. And for all our 3DS gamers, yes, you will be able to play in either 2D or 3D.
Update: On 12 July, Activision confirmed the pricing information. The discs will sell for $39.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and for $29.99 on 3DS.
Petri Järvilehto (Executive VP of Games, Rovio): “There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content.” We aren’t entirely sure what these extra and such will entail, but we do notice a mini-biography about Terence during the video, so it could include that.
Järvilehto: “The backgrounds have been animated, we’ve added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on.” Frankly, the images shown in the video look incredible. Even the Episode Selection Screen looks super slick!
Individual leaderboards for each level!
What we speculate:
Disclaimer: These speculations are based solely on images seen in the video. During the next few months, Rovio could very well change things, so any or all of these items could be nixed by the time the final product comes around.
About 18 secs into the video there they show an Episode Selection Screen of Angry Birds Seasons. Based on this it appears that the Mighty Eagle will be in the game! Notice the feather counter.
Also based on this image, it appears that the Facebook/Twitter levels will be unlocked or unlockable! Notice the feather/star counter is accurate for 18 levels.
What we don’t know:
When will it be released?
Will ABT receive updates? I believe this is what IGN means when they asked about the “free level packs iOS and Android players received”, but I’m just speculating about their author’s wording.
Will the aforementioned “individual level leaderboards” be inter-platform? That is, will XBox scores appear on the leaderboard of a PS3 user?
